IAFN Elections open July 1st!
Selecting leaders with a vision is one of the most important responsibities you have as a member of the IAFN. Your voting participation is key in keeping IAFN growing and achieving its mission. Before you vote, you will be able to review statements made by candidates as well as their biographical information. You will also have the opportunity to approve by-law amendments. Members have been emailed a unique election passcode. If you need assistance with logging on to the voting link, contact our election vendor, Survey and Ballot Systems directly at 952-974-2339. The IAFN election is open until July 31, 2008, 11:59pm.
Professional Liability Insurance - Do you have it?
The IAFN is contantly striving to find additional resources to assist our members with their professional career. As a forensic nurse, you need to protect yourself from liabiity. IAFN recently partnered with the Nurses Service Organization (NSO) because we feel they are an excellent option and worth investigating. SAFE Regional Training: Creating a Community Protocol. Registration is now open for the next SAFE Regional Training to be held in New Orleans, Louisiana on August 14-15, 2008. Cost is $35.00 and registration is open until August 1st, 2008. Space is limited. Multi-disciplinary teams are encouraged to attend.
